Yes. Malaysia Airlines bookings on Laters.com can use a pay-later plan at checkout. Direct airline instalment options include Maybank, Public Bank and CIMB from RM500 for 6 months or RM1,000 for 12 months, subject to the published terms.

Paying later is a payment method at the Laters.com checkout, not something Malaysia Airlines has to switch on, which is why it works on every route we ticket. Search the route, choose a provider on the payment screen, pick a plan, and the e-ticket arrives as soon as payment is approved. Which plans a traveller sees is set by the country they book from, not by the airline they fly, and checkout shows only the plans their fare qualifies for. There is nothing to work out in advance.

An instalment plan leaves the fare alone, and the baggage allowance, and the seat, and what the fare class earns in the Enrich programme. The traveller flies as Malaysia Airlines's own passenger on Malaysia Airlines's own fare rules, and only the paying is spread. Interest-free instalment plans run a soft eligibility check that does not affect a credit score, while interest-bearing monthly financing runs a full credit check, and approval is never guaranteed on either. 05Will a credit check affect my ability to book a Malaysia Airlines flight this way?
