Suits a smaller regional economy fare paid in one later move through Grab. No interest shown, credit check requirements and late fees are set by Grab, and nothing leaves your account today.

Split any IndiGo fare with Tabby, Atome, Afterpay and more at the Laters.com checkout. Laters.com adds no booking fee, and no provider here charges extra for paying later, so borrow responsibly.
Yes. Book IndiGo on Laters.com, pick a pay-later plan inside the checkout, and get the e-ticket straight away. This holds on every route IndiGo flies and every fare class it sells, with the plan chosen at the point of payment rather than decided in advance.
Paying later is a payment method at the Laters.com checkout, not something IndiGo has to switch on, which is why it works on every route we ticket. Search the route, choose a provider on the payment screen, pick a plan, and the e-ticket arrives as soon as payment is approved. Which plans someone sees is set by the country they book from, not by the airline they fly, so checkout shows only the plans their fare qualifies for and there is nothing to work out beforehand.
An instalment plan leaves the fare alone, and the baggage allowance, and the seat, and what the fare class earns in IndiGo BluChip. The traveller flies as IndiGo's own passenger on IndiGo's own fare rules, and only the paying is spread. Interest-free plans run a soft eligibility check that does not affect a credit score, while interest-bearing monthly financing runs a full credit check, and approval is never guaranteed on either. A reader who would rather skip a plan altogether can still pay in full by card, or with crypto, at the same checkout.

This is a calculator, not a brochure. Set a IndiGo fare and every plan shape below prices itself against that number, showing what you'd owe upfront and on each later date.

Suits a smaller regional economy fare paid in one later move through Grab. No interest shown, credit check requirements and late fees are set by Grab, and nothing leaves your account today.
Fits a short-haul economy fare. Offered through Grab, Tabby, Clearpay or Afterpay, no interest, with a card charge at checkout for the first instalment and the rest set by the provider.
Works for a mid-size fare stretched further than three or four payments allow. Through Grab, no interest charged, credit check and late fee terms set by Grab.
Suits a longer-haul or premium-cabin IndiGo fare that needs more room to repay. Through Grab or Tabby, no interest, credit check and late fees set by the provider.
Fits a regional economy fare split over a short run of payments. Through Tabby or Atome, no interest, with an initial charge taken at checkout and terms set by the provider.
Built for a long-haul or premium-cabin fare needing a longer repayment run. Through Atome or Afterpay, this shape carries interest, needs a full credit check, and the provider sets late fees.
IndiGo is paid in full at booking. You repay the provider on the plan you choose, and your e-ticket is issued straight away. The same instalment shape can trade under a different name depending on provider and market, terms and eligibility vary, so read them before booking.

Booking direct with the airline is a reasonable choice if you're paying by card in full. But IndiGo's own checkout has no pay-later option, so the fare can't be split there, and its site only ever shows you IndiGo flights. Book the same route through Laters.com and you get the identical IndiGo ticket, same fare rules, same baggage allowance, same seat selection, same BluChip earning, just with the choice to spread the cost through instalments instead of paying it all upfront.

Reliability & operations9.5/10
An on-time rate of 94% with average delays of just 3 minutes and a 0% cancellation rate points to a tightly run operation, though IndiGo does not publish a minimum connection time at its Delhi hub.

Comfort & experience8/10
Standard economy pitch runs 35.2in with 18.5in width, well above typical short-haul seating, but the base Economy cabin still charges for seat selection and only IndiGoStretch includes a complimentary meal.

Value & network5.5/10
Baggage and seating carry a long list of add-ons, including excess baggage at INR 800 per kg and seat selection from INR 200 to INR 1700, so the headline fare rarely covers the full trip.

Passenger ratings7/10
Skytrax named IndiGo Best Airline in India & South Asia for 2025 and it also took ch-aviation's World's Youngest Aircraft Fleet 2025 title, but no star rating or review-score figure is published to size overall satisfaction.

Economy runs 3-3 seating with paid seat selection, no set pitch published. Step up to IndiGoStretch or Stretch+ and you get 2-2 coupe-style seats with a 38in pitch and deeper recline, a real jump from standard Economy. Stretch+ adds lounge access at IST, MAN, AMS, ATH and LHR. Check which cabin your fare books before assuming extra room.
Every fare gets one 7kg cabin bag up to 55 x 35 x 25cm. Checked bags scale with cabin: 15kg in Economy, 30kg in IndiGoStretch, 40kg in IndiGoStretch+, and Stretch or codeshare sectors switch to a 2-piece concept capped at 23kg each. Economy travellers carry the lightest allowance of the three. Check the exact kilos or pieces on your booking confirmation before you pack, since routes and fares vary.
Allowances vary by route and by fare type. Confirm against your booking confirmation before you travel.
Online check-in opens 48 hours before departure. Both online check-in and airport counters close 60 minutes before departure, so there's no later cut-off for one over the other here. Gate-close timing still varies by airport, so treat this as the airline's baseline rather than a guarantee at every stop. Follow the times printed on your boarding pass and get to the gate ahead of that window.
Gate-close timing varies by airport, so treat the airline rule as a guide and follow the times printed on your boarding pass.
IndiGo BluChip runs from entry tier Blu 3 up to top tier Blu 1. Miles expire after 2 years, so they need using rather than banking indefinitely. How many miles a ticket earns depends on the fare class booked through an agent, not a flat rate across the board. Check your fare class before booking if racking up miles toward Blu 1 matters to you.
Miles accrual on agent-issued tickets depends on the fare class booked.
IndiGoStretch includes a complimentary meal, something Economy doesn't carry as standard. Stretch seats also come with a 60W USB-C power outlet built in, useful for keeping a laptop or phone topped up on longer sectors. Economy is the exception here, with neither the meal nor the outlet confirmed as included. Pre-order or check your fare details if a meal or charging point matters for your flight.
IndiGo's hub is Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). No minimum connection time is published, so build in a comfortable buffer rather than cutting it close between flights. If you're routing through Delhi on separate tickets or checking bags across carriers, confirm your specific connection window with the airport or airline directly rather than assuming a standard gap applies.
IndiGo asks for wheelchair and special-needs requests at least 48 hours before departure, the same lead time it sets for online check-in to open. Report to the airport 2 hours before your flight once the request is in. There's no separate exception noted for particular routes or fare types, so this 48-hour rule holds across the board. Submit the request as early as you can rather than waiting until the day.

Yes, IndiGo (6E) fares booked through Laters.com can be split into instalments through the site's buy now, pay later options with Tabby, Atome, Afterpay and many others. You choose a payment plan at checkout and the ticket is issued once the booking is confirmed, so you travel now and spread the cost afterward. Eligibility and the number of instalments depend on the plan provider's assessment of the traveller at checkout.
Eligibility for paying later on an IndiGo booking depends on the checkout assessment run by the pay-later provider Laters.com partners with, not on IndiGo itself. Provider decisions typically factor in the applicant's age, location, and financial standing at the time of booking. Because this is a lending decision, approval is never guaranteed and terms can vary between customers.
Whether a credit check applies to an IndiGo booking depends on the specific pay-later plan chosen at checkout on Laters.com, since different providers use different checks, from a soft look to a full credit assessment. This is a credit product, so borrowing responsibly matters: only commit to instalments you can repay on schedule. Missing the terms of the check or the agreement can affect what is offered to you in future.
Missing an instalment on an IndiGo booking made through a pay-later plan can trigger late fees, additional interest, or referral to collections, depending on the provider's terms agreed at checkout. This is credit, so falling behind carries real financial consequences beyond the immediate flight booking. Anyone unsure they can keep up with scheduled payments should not take on the instalment plan and should consider paying in full instead.
Paying later for an IndiGo flight can affect a credit score if the provider behind the plan reports payment activity to credit bureaus, which varies by plan and by country. On-time payments may have no effect or a neutral-to-positive effect, while missed or late payments can be reported and lower a score. Read the specific plan's terms at checkout on Laters.com before agreeing, since this is a credit commitment and not a simple deferred booking.
If IndiGo cancels a flight booked with a pay-later plan, any refund due follows IndiGo's own cancellation and refund policy, processed back to the original payment method used at booking. The pay-later provider separately governs how outstanding instalments are handled once a refund is issued, so travellers should check both the airline's refund terms and the credit plan's terms. Refund timing and treatment of already-paid instalments can differ by provider.
For a larger IndiGo fare, a longer instalment plan generally means smaller individual payments spread over more time, while a shorter plan clears the balance faster but with bigger instalments. The right choice depends on personal budget and the specific interest or fees attached to each plan length, which vary by provider. Because this is borrowing, pick a schedule matched to income that arrives on time, not just the smallest monthly figure.
Buy now, pay later availability for an IndiGo booking depends on which pay-later providers operate in the traveller's country and offer plans through Laters.com at checkout. Coverage and terms differ from one country to another, so the options shown at checkout reflect what is actually available to that specific booking. Travellers should check the payment options presented at checkout for their location rather than assume a plan seen elsewhere applies.
IndiGo's cabin baggage allowance is one bag of up to 7 kg, sized within 55 x 35 x 25 cm. Checked baggage depends on cabin: Economy allows 15 kg, IndiGoStretch allows 30 kg, and IndiGoStretch+ allows 40 kg. On Stretch and codeshare sectors the allowance can be split into two pieces, each capped at 23 kg.
IndiGo's Economy cabin has standard 3-3 seating with paid seat selection. IndiGoStretch and IndiGoStretch+ both use 2-2 coupe-style seating with deep recline and a 38-inch seat pitch, with IndiGoStretch+ adding lounge access at Istanbul, Manchester, Amsterdam, Athens, and London Heathrow.
Online check-in for an IndiGo flight opens 48 hours before departure and closes 60 minutes before departure. Airport check-in counters also close 60 minutes before departure, so travellers who miss the online window still have a counter cut-off to work with.
IndiGo's loyalty program is called BluChip, running from an entry tier of Blu 3 up to a top tier of Blu 1. Miles earned in the program expire after 2 years, so members need to keep some activity on the account to avoid losing accumulated miles.
IndiGoStretch includes a complimentary meal, which is not part of the standard Economy fare. IndiGoStretch seats also come with a 60W USB-C power outlet for charging devices during the flight.
IndiGo's hub is Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi. It is the airline's confirmed base airport for its network.
Wheelchair and other special-needs assistance on IndiGo must be requested at least 48 hours before departure. Travellers who have made the request also need to report at the airport 2 hours before departure so the assistance can be arranged in time.
IndiGo's pet policy was not available at the time of research, so no details on carrying pets can be confirmed here. Travellers with a pet should check IndiGo's own booking channels directly before relying on any assumption about pet travel.
You can book IndiGo flights and pay via EMI through Laters.com. Full terms and eligible banks are on our EMI Flights page.
IndiGo flies out of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, its hub, and its Skytrax honours give a sense of where it stands: Best Airline in India & South Asia, Best Low-Cost Airline in India & South Asia and Best Economy Class in India & South Asia, all from the Skytrax World Airline Awards in 2025. Onboard, the airline splits Economy from IndiGoStretch, its recliner-style cabin with deeper pitch and, on select sectors, a lounge stop before boarding. Its BluChip loyalty programme runs from an entry tier through to a top tier that takes sustained flying to reach, with miles that carry a set expiry.
Booking through Laters.com and paying in instalments does not touch any of that. The fare is identical to paying by card in one go, the baggage allowance is whatever the fare class carries, and any BluChip miles earned follow the same fare-class rules. The ticket is issued under IndiGo's own conditions, so you fly as IndiGo's passenger throughout, just with the cost spread out. That spreading is a credit arrangement: it depends on a credit check, and missing an instalment carries consequences with the provider, so treat it the same as any other borrowing.
IndiGo leans on Airbus, running a mix of aircraft rather than a single type, with the Airbus A321XLR handling longer-range flying and the ATR 72 covering shorter regional hops. Fleet counts move as deliveries and retirements happen, so treat any figure as a snapshot rather than a fixed number. Cancellation rate and fleet age are left out here, since no sourced field for this airline carries them, not because they don't matter.
