Can You Use fdusd for Flights?

fdusd Is Not Currently Accepted on Laters.com

No. FDUSD is not currently accepted for flight payments on Laters.com. Crypto.com Pay, our crypto processor, does not list FDUSD as a payment currency, and that applies to every airline, route and fare class. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent, so do not send FDUSD for a booking.

Airlines do not fill the gap. None of these list fdusd on their own booking sites. In North America: American Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines and Southwest Airlines. In Europe: easyJet and ITA. In Asia: AirAsia, Thai Airways and Scoot. Booking direct will not get you there either. At the Laters.com checkout, read the crypto options shown. If fdusd is not offered, choose another way to pay.

We have no confirmed coin or network for fdusd at checkout. Crypto.com Pay's own currency list includes stablecoins such as USDT, USDC and PYUSD, but not fdusd on any network. The fare is priced in ordinary currency, and the coin amount holds only while the quote is open. Whatever coin you pay with, send the exact amount on the network shown. Funds sent in an unsupported coin or on an unsupported network are not refunded or rebounded.

FDUSD Flights: Not Accepted, Other Options Ready

Compare flights across every airline we sell, then pay in FDUSD at the Laters.com checkout if it is offered for your booking. You choose the flight first, pay the fare in full at that same checkout, and we issue the e-ticket once the payment confirms.

Laters.com is the merchant for your ticket, so you deal with one party for the booking, any change to it and any refund, whichever airline operates the flight. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent. Changes and refunds therefore go through us, not through the network.

Choose Laters if...

You want to compare every airline in one search before you choose how to pay. You would like a pay-later plan at one checkout, whichever airline you fly.

Book direct if...

You are paying in full by card and want to manage the booking with the airline yourself. You want the status bonuses that only the airline's own site gives.

Each row compares the feature in each row. The fdusd-at-checkout row shows that neither Laters.com nor the airlines we checked currently accepts FDUSD. Check at checkout. Laters.com Payment Score: FDUSD

Cyan cartoon hand making a peace sign with black outline sticker style illustration

What is the Laters.com Payment Score?

  1. 1Coin Choice
  2. 2Fees
  3. 3Payment Speed
  4. 4Refunds

Each of the four criteria is scored out of 10 against the published payment terms of the processor that takes crypto at our checkout. The headline is the unweighted average of the four, rounded to one decimal, and no brand pays to be rated. Last reviewed October 2026.

Laters.com is the merchant for every booking on this page: we sell the ticket and earn from the fare, which is the same whichever payment method you choose. No payment provider pays us for placement, ranking or its Payment Score, and this page contains no affiliate links.

The processor behind our crypto checkout, Crypto.com Pay, does not list FDUSD among its 30 App tickers or on any network. Its refund currencies are CRO, BTC, ETH, USDC and TUSD. We could not confirm that FDUSD can pay for a flight. Laters.com has no hidden booking fees, sessions last 10 minutes for most coins, and a sent payment cannot be reversed.

What works well

  • No hidden booking fees from Laters.com on any payment method
  • Crypto.com Pay lists BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and PYUSD as alternatives
  • Overpayments from other wallets are rebounded, less the blockchain fee
  • Refunds keep the original pricing value, less network fees

What to watch

  • FDUSD is not on the processor's supported coin list
  • A sent crypto payment cannot be reversed
  • Unsupported coins or networks are not refunded or rebounded
  • Payments after the 10-minute session are rebounded, less fee

Coin Choice7/10

Crypto.com Pay lists 30 tickers for its App, including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and PYUSD, across networks such as Solana and Arbitrum One. FDUSD is on none of them, and Triple-A's list omits it too. That gap holds this at 7.

Fees8/10

Laters.com has no hidden booking fees, and Crypto.com Pay adds no fee when it converts at the market rate. No network fee amount is supplied, it depends on the wallet and network, and refunds carry a blockchain fee. That keeps it from 9.

Payment Speed7/10

A Crypto.com Pay session lasts 10 minutes for most coins and 20 for BTC. Late payments are rebounded whole, less the blockchain fee. Ten minutes is workable but tight for a wallet transfer, and no confirmation time is supplied.

Refunds7/10

Refunds are worth the original pricing value, less network fees, in CRO, BTC, ETH, USDC or TUSD. FDUSD is not a refund currency, the money goes to a refund address you choose, and no timeline is supplied.

The editorial take

Strongest on
Fees. Laters.com adds no booking fee, and Crypto.com Pay converts at the market rate with no added fee when the paid coin differs from the pricing currency.
Held back by
Coin support. FDUSD is absent from the processor's payment and refund lists, so we could not confirm it can pay for a flight at all.

What else can cost you

Laters.com surcharge
None. We add no booking fee, so the fare is the same whichever way you pay.
Network fee
Your wallet pays it to the network. No amount is supplied here, so your wallet and the checkout show the real figure.
Late or short payment
A session lasts 10 minutes for most coins and 20 for BTC. Underpaid or late payments are rebounded whole, less the blockchain fee.
Wrong coin or network
Funds sent in a coin or on a network the processor does not support will not be refunded or rebounded.
Refund route
Refunds come in crypto, not FDUSD, to a refund address you choose. On-chain refunds carry a network fee, and very small ones may be unavailable.

Where fdusd leads

  • No hidden booking fees from Laters.com on any payment method
  • Crypto.com Pay lists BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and PYUSD as alternatives
  • Overpayments from other wallets are rebounded, less the blockchain fee
  • Refunds keep the original pricing value, less network fees

Before you apply

  1. You need a wallet that can send to an external address, and the checkout must offer FDUSD first.
  2. Minimums, maximums and identity checks are not supplied here. Check the checkout and the processor's own terms.
  3. Paying from another wallet means giving an email address at payment, where a refund claim link is sent.
  4. Country rules are not supplied. Check the checkout before you plan around paying this way.

FDUSD Is Not Accepted for Any Airline

Every airline on Laters.com is treated the same way for FDUSD, because almost no airline takes crypto at its own checkout. The open question is the coin. We could not confirm from Crypto.com Pay's documentation that FDUSD is accepted, so look for it at checkout before sending anything. A sent payment cannot be reversed. The airline side holds on any route and any fare class, from short-haul low-cost tickets to long-haul business class. On a full-service carrier, the checked bag, seat selection, meals and frequent-flyer earning are exactly as the airline sells them. On a low-cost airline, the extras are added at checkout. Either way, the whole basket is one payment. Paying this way does not change the fare, the baggage allowance or the miles earned. You fly as the airline's own passenger. Laters.com receives the payment and pays the airline.

More Ways to Pay for Flights

We could not confirm that fdusd can be used at the Laters.com checkout, because it is missing from the supported lists of the crypto processors we checked. Ethereum is on Crypto.com Pay's list, so compare ethereum for flights on Laters.com before you send anything. Any crypto payment is made in full at checkout, and it cannot be reversed once it is sent. If you would rather not pay in fdusd, these are the other ways to pay for your flight at the same checkout.

FAQs: using fdusd to book flights

Everything you need to know about paying for flights with fdusd on Laters.com.

Can I use fdusd to buy plane tickets on Laters.com?

Not currently. Laters.com marks fdusd as not currently accepted, because FDUSD is not on the supported payment currency list for Crypto.com Pay, the crypto processor on file. We could not confirm from the processor's own documentation that FDUSD can pay for a flight booking. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent, so do not send fdusd until the Laters.com checkout shows it as an option.

Which airlines accept fdusd for flights?

None directly. Airlines do not switch on a payment method one by one, because the method is chosen at the Laters.com checkout. The real question is whether checkout offers fdusd, and that is not currently confirmed. Where checkout offers a crypto method, it applies to the flights sold on Laters.com rather than to named carriers. Check the payment step for your own itinerary before you plan to pay.

Which coins and networks can I use with fdusd to pay for flights on Laters.com?

None are confirmed for fdusd. Laters.com has no supplied list of accepted coins or networks for it. Crypto.com Pay, the processor on file, lists coins such as BTC, ETH, USDT, XRP and USDC for its app, and networks such as Cronos, ERC-20, Polygon and Solana. FDUSD is on neither list. The Laters.com checkout shows what is live for your booking.

Does paying for flights with fdusd cost extra?

No extra charge from Laters.com. Laters.com adds no payment surcharge and no booking fee. Your wallet pays any network fee to the network, and no fee amount is supplied for fdusd. Because fdusd is not currently confirmed at checkout, there is no fdusd cost to quote. Check the total at checkout before you pay, since a sent crypto payment cannot be reversed.

When is my e-ticket issued if I pay for a flight with fdusd?

Once payment confirms. Laters.com issues the e-ticket after the payment is confirmed. No fdusd confirmation time is supplied, so none is stated here. Because fdusd is not currently confirmed at checkout, do not expect a ticket from a payment sent outside the checkout flow. The Laters.com checkout and the terms of Crypto.com Pay, the processor on file, are where current timing is shown.

What happens if my fdusd quote expires before I send the payment?

The payment is late. Laters.com prices the fare in ordinary currency and converts it into the coin for a limited window shown at checkout. Crypto.com Pay counts a payment sent after its session as unresolved. For coins it supports, it rebounds the whole payment minus the blockchain fee. FDUSD is not one of them, so ask for a fresh quote and do not rely on a rebound.

What happens if I send too little or too much fdusd for a flight?

The outcome is not confirmed. Laters.com has no supplied underpayment or overpayment rule for fdusd, so we state no result. Contact Laters.com support before you send anything again. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent, and Crypto.com Pay, the processor on file, publishes its own terms for payments that do not match the quote. Check amount rules in the Laters.com checkout before you send.

Can the price change while I pay for a flight with fdusd?

Yes, once the quote closes. Laters.com prices the fare in ordinary currency, and the coin amount holds only while the quote is open. After that you need a new quote. No window length is supplied for fdusd, so send only the amount shown at checkout and only while it is open. A sent crypto payment cannot be reversed. Laters.com support can help if the quote has closed.

How do refunds work if I paid for a flight with fdusd and it is canceled?

Not in fdusd. The processor terms state that FDUSD is not a supported Crypto.com Pay or Triple-A payment or refund currency, and no refund method is supplied for fdusd. Crypto.com Pay's refund currencies are CRO, BTC, ETH, USDC and TUSD. Refunds on Laters.com follow the fare rules, so confirm the refund terms at checkout before you pay. Crypto.com Pay also asks for a refund address rather than returning funds to the paying one.

What happens if I send fdusd to the wrong network or address when paying for a flight?

Probably lost. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent, and Laters.com has no recovery term for fdusd. Crypto.com Pay's documentation says funds sent in a coin or on a network it does not support will not be refunded or rebounded. Copy the address and network only from the Laters.com checkout. Check both twice before you confirm in your wallet.

Do I need to verify my identity to pay for a flight with fdusd?

That is not confirmed. Laters.com has no identity-check term supplied for fdusd, so we state no requirement either way. Crypto.com Pay is the processor on file and sets its own terms. Requirements can vary by country, so confirm them at the Laters.com checkout and in the processor's terms before you send anything. Do not send anything until you have checked.

Should I use fdusd or ripple to pay for flights on Laters.com?

Ripple, if offered. XRP is on Crypto.com Pay's supported payment list for its app, and FDUSD is not. Laters.com has a separate Ripple payment page, but this page does not confirm which networks checkout takes for XRP. Pick the coin the checkout lists for your booking and send only on the network it shows. A sent payment cannot be reversed.

Does fdusd work for international or multi-stop flights on Laters.com?

Route does not matter. The payment method is chosen at the Laters.com checkout, which works on every airline, route and fare class. The open question is whether fdusd is offered, and that is not currently confirmed. No per-booking limit is supplied, and crypto rules vary by country, so check the checkout and the terms of Crypto.com Pay, the processor on file.

Can I pay for business class flights with fdusd?

Fare class is not the barrier. The Laters.com checkout works on every fare class, including premium cabins. The barrier is that Crypto.com Pay, the processor on file, does not list FDUSD as a payment currency. No minimum or maximum amount is supplied, so check the limit at checkout before booking a high fare. A sent payment cannot be reversed, so check the Laters.com checkout first.

Can I change my flight booking after paying with fdusd?

Fare rules decide. The airline's fare rules govern changes to a booking made on Laters.com, and we have no confirmed fdusd-specific handling for them. Refunds matter here, since FDUSD is not a supported refund currency for Crypto.com Pay, whose refund currencies are CRO, BTC, ETH, USDC and TUSD. Confirm change and refund terms at the Laters.com checkout before you pay, and ask support if they are unclear.

Which wallet can I use to pay for flights with fdusd?

None is confirmed. Laters.com has no supplied wallet requirement for fdusd. Crypto.com Pay, the processor on file, takes payments from its own app or from other crypto wallets, but only in coins it supports, and FDUSD is not one of them. Check what the Laters.com checkout offers before you send anything, because a sent payment cannot be reversed. Laters.com support can say what is offered.

About fdusd and Laters.com

About fdusd Flights

Who is fdusd?

FDUSD is a US dollar stablecoin issued by First Digital Labs, incorporated in the British Virgin Islands, with reserves held by a Hong Kong trust. It aims to hold a 1:1 value with the dollar. The coin lives on several networks, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, TON, Sui, Solana and Arbitrum.

Its issuer publishes independent attestation reports on the reserves every month. Paying for a flight is the thinnest part of the story. We could not confirm that FDUSD works as a payment coin for flights.

Crypto payments at our checkout are taken by Crypto.com Pay. The fare is priced in ordinary currency, then converted into the coin for a limited window. You send from your wallet on the network shown, and the network confirms it.

Here is the catch. Crypto.com Pay's published lists of supported payment currencies do not include FDUSD, so check whether checkout offers it. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent, so check the amount, the network and the address before you send.

Booking with fdusd on Laters.com

Search your route on Laters.com, where fares from multiple providers appear in one search. At checkout, look for fdusd among the crypto options. Crypto.com Pay's supported lists do not include it, so it may not appear.

If it does, send the quoted amount on the network shown before the quote expires. The fare is priced in ordinary currency and converted into the coin for a limited window, and the processor's terms set how long that lasts.

Your e-ticket is issued once the payment confirms. A sent crypto payment cannot be reversed, so check the amount, the network and the address first.

Laters.com is the merchant for your booking and issues the ticket. fdusd would only be the way the fare is paid. Paying this way carries no payment surcharge and no booking fee, so the fare is the same as paying by card.

The network fee is paid from your wallet to the network, and the checkout is where to look for what applies. Refunds follow the fare rules of the ticket.

The processor's terms say FDUSD is not a supported payment or refund currency, so do not assume a refund would come back in FDUSD. The checkout terms say how a refund would reach you.

Laters.com earns from the fare as the merchant, the same whichever payment method you choose; no payment provider pays for placement on this page.

Not currently accepted

FDUSD is not on the supported payment or refund currency list for Crypto.com Pay or Triple-A, the crypto processors behind Laters' other crypto payment pages. We could not confirm, from either processor's own documentation, that FDUSD can actually be used to pay for a flight booking. Laters.com is the new name for Fly Fairly; nothing about your booking or support changes. Last reviewed by the Laters.com editorial team in October 2026.
