Alex Yardley

Alex is the co-founder and CEO of Laters.com (formerly Fly Fairly), the payments-first travel platform he founded in 2024 to fix the part of flight booking the industry never touched: how people actually pay. Under his leadership, the company reached profitability, expanded into 30+ markets, and acquired Gen Z travel discovery platform LFG in 2025.

His path here started in data. He began as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Fujitsu, then Verizon Business, before founding his own BI and strategic management consultancy in 2008, working with clients like Barclays, eBay, and Virgin Media. That consultancy closed when eBay brought him in-house, kicking off over a decade of commercial and partnerships leadership across travel and e-commerce: Director then Senior Director of Global Strategic Partnerships at Agoda, Chief Product and Growth Officer at IWG plc, and Managing Director of Global Accounts at ShopBack. That mix of data, partnerships, and OTA economics across three continents is what's behind the founder's-eye view he writes from.
