Not as far as we can confirm. We cannot tell you to use lusd to buy plane tickets and book flights. Crypto.com Pay, the processor that takes the payment, does not list it as a payment currency. Every airline, route and fare class on Laters.com can be paid for in full at checkout, in a coin the checkout accepts. Whatever coin you choose, a crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent.

None of these airlines lists lusd on its own booking site. They are American Airlines, Delta Airlines and JetBlue Airways in North America, easyJet and ITA in Europe, and Thai Airways, Scoot and Philippine Airlines in Asia. Booking through Laters.com does not change that. At checkout you select a coin the page lists, send the quoted amount on the network shown, and the e-ticket is issued once the payment confirms.

Crypto.com Pay, which takes the payment, does not list lusd as a payment currency. It does list stablecoins such as USDC and USDT, and the checkout shows which coins and networks apply to your booking. The fare is priced in ordinary currency and converted into the coin for a limited window, so the amount holds only while the quote is open. Send the exact amount on the stated network. Funds sent on a network the processor does not support are not returned.

Can I buy plane tickets with lusd on Laters.com?

Not currently. Laters.com cannot confirm that lusd (Liquity USD) works at checkout. Crypto.com Pay, the processor for this method, does not list LUSD among its supported payment currencies. Triple-A, our other crypto processor, does not list it either. Look at the payment options at checkout before you plan around it. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once sent, so never send lusd to an address unless checkout asks for it.

Which airlines accept lusd for flights?

None confirmed. On Laters.com the airline does not decide, because payment methods are set at checkout and not switched on by each airline. The limit is lusd itself. Crypto.com Pay's supported payment currency list does not include LUSD, and no processor page we read confirms it can pay for a booking. Check which payment methods your chosen fare offers at checkout before you try to pay.

Which coins and networks can I use to pay for flights with lusd?

What happens if my lusd quote expires before I send the payment?

Can the price change while I pay for a flight with lusd?

Yes, once the quote closes. On Laters.com the fare is priced in ordinary currency, and the coin amount holds only while the quote is open. lusd is a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by the Liquity protocol, which is software rather than a company product, so no single company issues or runs it. People mostly use it as the currency Liquity pays out its loans in, drawn against Ether collateral. Paying for travel is a much narrower use, and at our checkout it is not a settled one.

Crypto.com Pay is the processor that takes crypto payments at our checkout. The fare is priced in ordinary currency and converted into the coin for a limited window. You send it from your own wallet on the network shown, and the network confirms it. Crypto.com Pay's published lists of supported payment currencies do not include lusd, so send it only if the checkout offers it.
