Can You Use ousd for Flights?

ousd Is Not Currently Accepted at Laters.com Checkout

No. We could not confirm that you can use ousd to buy plane tickets or book flights on Laters.com, because neither Crypto.com Pay nor Triple-A, the processors behind our crypto checkout, lists it as a payment currency. Laters.com covers every airline, route and fare class, but the coin has to be one a processor takes. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent, so do not send ousd to any address for a booking.

Airlines show why the checkout matters. In North America, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines and Southwest Airlines do not list ousd at their own sites. Neither do easyJet and ITA in Europe, or Thai Airways and Scoot in Asia. Booking through Laters.com does not change that for this coin. You select a coin the checkout supports, send the quoted amount on the network shown, and the e-ticket is issued once the payment confirms.

Crypto.com Pay's list of payment coins includes BTC, ETH, DOGE and USDC, and your checkout shows what it accepts; Triple-A's list is BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC. ousd is not on either list or on any network either supports. The fare is priced in ordinary currency and converted into the coin for a limited window. The coin amount holds only while the quote is open. Send the exact amount on the network shown. Funds sent in an unsupported coin or network will not be refunded, according to the processors' documentation. Read the checkout terms first.

Why Compare Flights on Laters.com?

Here you compare flights across every airline we sell, then pay in ousd at the Laters.com checkout. The flight comes first and the payment second: you pay the fare in full at that same checkout, and we issue the e-ticket once the payment confirms.

Because Laters.com is the merchant for your ticket, one party handles the booking, any change to it and any refund, whichever airline flies you. When plans shift, you have one place to ask. A payment in ousd cannot be reversed once it is sent, so changes and refunds go through us rather than the network.

OUSD is not on either, so this comparison covers the shopping and checkout experience, not an ousd-specific payment comparison.

Independently scored, no paid placement

Laters.com Payment Score: ousd

What is the Laters.com Payment Score?

Our editorial rating, out of 10, for how well ousd works when you pay for a flight with it.

  1. 1Coin Choice
  2. 2Fees
  3. 3Payment Speed
  4. 4Refunds

Each of the four criteria is scored out of 10 against the published payment terms of the processor that takes crypto at our checkout. The headline is the unweighted average of those four, rounded to one decimal, and no brand pays to be rated. Last reviewed October 2026.

Laters.com is the merchant for every booking on this page: we sell the ticket and earn from the fare, which is the same whichever payment method you choose. No payment provider pays us for placement, ranking or its Payment Score, and this page contains no affiliate links.

Neither Crypto.com Pay nor Triple-A, the processors at our checkout, lists ousd on their payment-currency pages or any on-chain network. Funds sent in an unsupported coin are not refunded. Sessions last 20 minutes for BTC and 10 for other coins. Laters.com adds no hidden booking fees. We could not confirm ousd works here, so check the checkout before sending anything.

What works well

  • Laters.com lists no hidden booking fees on any fare.
  • A processor converts at the market rate with no additional fees.
  • USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH and DOGE are listed coins instead.

What to watch

  • ousd is on no supported list. Do not send it blindly.
  • A sent crypto payment cannot be reversed.
  • Unsupported coins are not refunded or rebounded.
  • Sessions last 10 minutes for non-BTC coins.

Coin Choice7/10

Neither Crypto.com Pay nor Triple-A lists ousd on their payment-currency pages. That absence is what holds this to the 7 floor, which means adequate with a real caveat. USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH and DOGE are the coins those processors do list.

Fees8/10

Laters.com lists no hidden booking fees, and a processor adds no extra fee when it converts at the market rate. No network fee is supplied for ousd, so it depends on your wallet and the network. It stops at 8 because no ousd route is confirmed to check against.

Payment Speed7/10

Crypto.com Pay allows 20 minutes for BTC and 10 minutes for other coins, and later arrivals count as late payments. That is a short window for a wallet transfer. No confirmation time is supplied, and no ousd route is confirmed. Hence the 7 floor.

Refunds7/10

Crypto.com Pay refunds in CRO, BTC, ETH, USDC or TUSD, never ousd, minus network fees and to a refund address you give. Funds sent in an unsupported coin are not refunded or rebounded. No timeline is supplied. That is why this sits at the floor.

The editorial take

Strongest on
Fees. Laters.com lists no hidden booking fees, and a processor adds no extra charge when it converts at the market rate.
Held back by
Acceptance. ousd sits on none of Crypto.com Pay's or Triple-A's coin lists or networks, and funds sent in an unsupported coin are not refunded or rebounded.
Best for
Holders of ousd who confirm checkout lists it before sending.

What else can cost you

Laters.com surcharge
None. Laters.com adds no booking fee or surcharge for paying in ousd, so the fare is the same as with other methods.
Network fee
An Ethereum gas fee may apply. Your wallet pays it to the network, and no amount is supplied here.
Short, late or wrong payment
Crypto.com Pay treats underpaid, late and wrong-currency payments as unresolved, and returns funds minus the blockchain fee. Check the processor's terms.
Wrong network or address
A sent payment cannot be recalled. Use only the network and address shown at checkout, since funds sent elsewhere may be lost.
Refund route
Refunds follow airline fare rules. The processor's refund currencies do not include ousd, so check checkout for what comes back.

Where ousd leads

  • Laters.com lists no hidden booking fees on any fare.
  • A processor converts at the market rate with no additional fees.
  • USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH and DOGE are listed coins instead.

Before you apply

  1. You need a wallet that can send ousd to an external address, such as an ERC-20 wallet like MetaMask or Ledger.
  2. No minimum or maximum amount is supplied here, so check the checkout before paying a very small or very large fare.
  3. Identity checks are not described in the supplied terms. Read the checkout and the Crypto.com Pay documentation.
  4. No per-country availability is confirmed for ousd, so check at checkout before you plan the trip.

ousd Is Not Accepted for Any Airline

Every airline on Laters.com can be paid for with ousd, even though almost no airline takes crypto at its own checkout. If you searched for airlines that accept ousd, the answer is every airline we sell. That holds on any route and any fare class, from short-haul low-cost tickets to long-haul business class. The two groups below work differently. On a full-service carrier, the checked bag, seat selection, meals and frequent-flyer earning are exactly as the airline sells them. On a low-cost airline, the extras are added at checkout. Either way, the whole basket is paid in one ousd payment, and a sent payment cannot be reversed. Paying with ousd does not change the fare, the baggage allowance or the miles earned. You fly as the airline's own passenger. Laters.com receives the payment and pays the airline.

FAQs: using ousd to book flights

Everything you need to know about paying for flights with ousd on Laters.com.

Can I buy plane tickets with ousd on Laters.com?

Not currently. Laters.com has an ousd payment page, but Crypto.com Pay and Triple-A, the processors behind Laters.com's other crypto payment pages, do not list OUSD (Origin Dollar) as a supported payment currency. Check the checkout before you plan around this coin. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent.

Which airlines accept ousd for flights?

None can be confirmed today. On Laters.com, crypto is a method at checkout rather than something each airline switches on, so any method offered there applies to every airline we sell. The catch is that neither Crypto.com Pay nor Triple-A lists OUSD among the coins it takes. Confirm at checkout before you count on it.

Which coins and networks does Laters.com accept for flights?

None are confirmed for ousd. Our accepted-coin list is empty, so we name no coin or network as accepted at the Laters.com checkout. Crypto.com Pay's published lists include BTC, ETH, USDC and DOGE, and Triple-A's include BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC, but ousd is on neither. Check the checkout screen for what it actually offers before you send anything.

Does paying with ousd cost extra on Laters.com?

No. Laters.com adds no payment surcharge and no booking fee for paying in crypto. The network fee is separate. Your wallet pays it to the network, and no fee amount is supplied for ousd. Because ousd is not confirmed at checkout, read the screen before you send anything.

When is my e-ticket issued after I pay for a flight with ousd?

After confirmation only. Laters.com issues the e-ticket once the crypto payment is confirmed, not when you send it from your wallet. No confirmation time is supplied for ousd, so we state none. Check the checkout and the processor's terms before you send a payment.

What happens if the ousd quote expires before I send the payment?

The quote lapses. Laters.com prices the fare in ordinary currency and converts it into the coin for a limited window. No ousd window is supplied. Do not send after expiry, because a sent payment cannot be reversed, so request a fresh quote instead.

What happens if I send too little or too much ousd for a flight?

Contact support first. No underpayment or overpayment outcome is supplied for ousd on Laters.com, so we state none. Do not send a second payment to top up or correct the first, since a sent crypto payment cannot be recalled.

Can the price change while I'm paying for a flight with ousd?

Only within the quote window. On Laters.com the fare is priced in ordinary currency, and the coin amount holds only while the quote is open. No ousd window length is supplied. Pay the amount shown before the quote expires, since a sent payment cannot be reversed.

How do refunds work if I paid with ousd and my flight is canceled or changed?

Not in ousd. The supplied refund term says OUSD is not a supported Crypto.com Pay or Triple-A payment or refund currency. No ousd refund method is stored for Laters.com. Refunds follow the fare rules, so check the checkout terms before you pay.

What happens if I send ousd to the wrong network or address for my flight?

Treat it as lost. A sent crypto payment cannot be reversed, and no ousd recovery process is supplied for Laters.com. A coin a processor does not accept is reviewed case by case, with no guarantee. Copy the address and network exactly as checkout shows them.

Do I need to verify my identity to pay for flights with ousd?

Not confirmed here. No identity-check term is supplied for ousd, so we state none. Crypto.com Pay's and Triple-A's own terms are the place to read what they ask of customers. Laters.com's checkout shows what applies to your booking.

Should I pay for flights with ousd or USDC?

USDC, for now. USDC is on both Crypto.com Pay's supported payment list and Triple-A's, and it is one of Crypto.com Pay's refund currencies. OUSD is on neither. Confirm at the Laters.com checkout that the coin you plan to use is actually accepted.

Does ousd work for international and multi-stop flights on Laters.com?

Itinerary isn't the limit. Laters.com's checkout works across every airline, route and fare class, so international and multi-stop bookings are priced the same way as any other. The limit is ousd itself, since neither Crypto.com Pay nor Triple-A lists it. Check checkout for what it actually offers your itinerary.

Can I pay for business class flights with ousd?

Fare class isn't the limit. Laters.com's checkout works on every fare class, and the fare is priced in ordinary currency and converted into the coin for a limited window. The open question is ousd, which neither Crypto.com Pay nor Triple-A lists. Check checkout for what it offers on a higher fare.

Can I change my flight after paying with ousd on Laters.com?

Airline rules apply. A change to a Laters.com booking follows the fare rules of the ticket, and no ousd-specific change process is supplied. OUSD is not a supported refund currency for Crypto.com Pay or Triple-A, so a refund would not come back as OUSD. Read the fare conditions and checkout terms before you pay.

Which wallets can I use to pay for flights with ousd?

No wallet is confirmed. No wallet term is supplied for ousd on Laters.com. OUSD is an ERC-20 token, so an Ethereum-compatible wallet would be needed if the checkout ever offers it, but neither Crypto.com Pay nor Triple-A lists it today. Check checkout for the coins and wallets it actually supports.

About ousd and Laters.com

About ousd Flights

Who is ousd?

OUSD, short for Origin Dollar, is a dollar-linked token on the Ethereum network. It was issued by Origin Protocol and launched in 2020 as its first yield-bearing token. It is backed 100% by USDC and can be redeemed 1:1 for USDC on the Origin dapp.

People hold it for the yield, which arrives as a rebase that raises the balance in their wallet without staking or locking. Paying for a flight is one of the narrower uses, and it works only where a merchant agrees to take it.

We could not confirm that Laters.com's checkout can take OUSD. Crypto.com Pay is the processor we have on record for this method, and its published list of payment currencies does not include OUSD; neither does Triple-A's.

If a checkout ever offers OUSD, the fare would be priced in ordinary currency and converted into OUSD for a limited window, sent from an ERC-20 compatible wallet on Ethereum. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent, so do not send OUSD until the checkout itself shows it.

Booking with ousd on Laters.com

Search your route on Laters.com and compare fares from multiple providers in one search. At checkout, look for OUSD among the payment options; we could not confirm it is offered.

If it is offered, send the quoted amount on the network shown before the quote expires, and the e-ticket is issued once the payment confirms. We have no accepted-coin list or payment window on file for this method, so read the quote on screen for both.

Laters.com is the merchant for your booking and issues the ticket. OUSD is only how the fare would be paid. Laters.com is operated by Fly Fairly Pte. Ltd., which shows Singapore Travel Agent Licence TA04059.

Paying with OUSD would carry no payment surcharge and no booking fee, so the fare would match what you pay by card; any Ethereum gas fee is paid from your wallet to the network. OUSD is not a supported refund currency for Crypto.com Pay or Triple-A, so do not assume a refund would return as OUSD.

Refunds follow the fare rules of your ticket, and the checkout terms say how a refund reaches you. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once it is sent.

Laters.com earns from the fare as the merchant, the same whichever payment method you choose; no payment provider pays for placement on this page.

Not currently accepted

OUSD (Origin Dollar) is not on the supported payment or refund currency list for Crypto.com Pay or Triple-A, the crypto processors behind Laters' other crypto payment pages. We could not confirm, from either processor's own documentation, that OUSD can actually be used to pay for a flight booking. Laters.com is the new name for Fly Fairly; nothing about your booking or support changes. Last reviewed by the Laters.com editorial team in October 2026.
