Can You Use Madfu for Flights?

Madfu Is Coming Soon to Laters.com

No, not yet. Madfu is not currently available as a payment method when you book flights on Laters.com. We're working on adding it to checkout, and this page will update once it launches. In the meantime, Laters.com accepts other pay-later providers including Zilch, Tabby, Tamara, Klarna, Affirm and Atome.

Most airlines don't offer Madfu directly at their own checkout. That includes major carriers like American Airlines, Delta and United in the US, and British Airways, Lufthansa and Finnair across the UK, Germany and the Nordics. Booking through Laters.com is what makes Madfu usable on all of them: you select Madfu at the Laters.com checkout, pick a plan that fits your budget, and your e-ticket is issued once payment is confirmed.

Madfu's pay-in-4 and pay-in-6 plans are both interest-free, and both are available to Saudi travellers booking through us, subject to approval and to being 18 or over. That stretches from a long-haul flight in business class to a short domestic hop, so the split works whether you're funding a big-ticket trip or a quick weekend fare. Zilch is also accepted at our checkout, if you'd rather compare the two before booking.

Split Your Flight, Pay Over Time with Madfu

Madfu lets you split a fare into monthly instalments instead of paying the whole ticket at once. Both plans are marketed as interest-free, but a credit check applies before approval, and missed payments can still bring a cost. Terms and eligibility sit with Madfu.

Pay in 4

0% APR ยท 4 months

Pay in 4 splits the fare into monthly instalments and is advertised as interest-free, so it costs nothing extra when every payment lands on time. A credit check applies before approval, and a missed instalment can still bring a cost. Madfu's own app listing describes splitting payments into 4 interest-free instalments over 4 months with no extra cost; Shariah-compliant.

Pay in 6

Per instalment
$83.33monthly, 6 times
Due today
Not specifiedif approved
Total you pay
$500.00no interest

0% APR ยท 6 months

Pay in 6 stretches the fare over more monthly instalments and is also advertised as interest-free, which keeps the cost down as long as payments stay on schedule. Approval still depends on a credit check, and falling behind can turn this into a more expensive way to fly. Madfu's Google Play listing markets splitting purchases into 6 interest-free instalments; longest plan advertised.

Both plans are named the same way across the market Madfu currently serves, Saudi Arabia. Whichever option you choose, Madfu is the lender you repay, and your airline e-ticket is issued in full once the booking is approved.

Illustrative only. The figures above are computed from the fare you set: plain division for the interest-free plans, and the plan's own illustrative rate over its stated term for monthly financing. They are not an offer, a quote, or a prediction of what you will be given. Laters.com is not the lender and takes no part in the decision: which plans appear, the instalment amounts, any interest and fees, and whether you are eligible at all are determined by the provider alone, and depend on a credit or eligibility assessment, your country and your basket. The only way to see your real plans is to choose this payment method at checkout, at which point the provider, not Laters.com, approves or declines the purchase. All plans, rates, fees and terms are estimates only and subject to approval and to change.

Madfu plans by country

Madfu Flight Booking: Available Countries

Madfu's flight booking coverage on Laters.com centres on Saudi Arabia, reflecting its roots as a licensed Saudi Central Bank instalment provider built around the Kingdom's travel market. This is currently the whole of Madfu's published footprint, so Madfu checkout on Laters.com is available in every market Madfu operates in. Fares are settled in Saudi riyals, so a traveller booking here pays in their local currency rather than facing a conversion at checkout. The grid below is built from Madfu's own published country terms, not from our estimate of them. This guide lists instalment plans in 1 market.

Across the region, shoppers know this plan simply as splitting a purchase into monthly instalments, and in Saudi Arabia Madfu offers it in two lengths rather than a separate short-term label, with no market in our data publishing it under another name. Instalments are taken at purchase and then at fixed monthly intervals afterward, interest-free when paid on time, though approval is never guaranteed and Madfu's longer plan may carry different terms than its shorter one. Limits and rates differ by country and are shown by Madfu at checkout.

What's Available Instead, for Now

Madfu isn't available at Laters.com's checkout yet. While we add it, Laters.com's checkout already covers other pay-later providers including Zilch, Tabby, Tamara, Klarna, Affirm and Atome, each with its own plans and eligibility rules.

We'll update this page as soon as Madfu is added to checkout. Until then, compare one of Laters.com's existing pay-later options above, or pay by card.

What is the Laters.com Payment Score?

Our editorial rating, out of 10, for how well a buy now, pay later provider works when you are booking a flight.

  1. 1Repayment Flexibility
  2. 2Interest Rate
  3. 3Eligibility
  4. 4Approval Process

Every provider at our checkout is scored on the same 4 measures, so you can compare them like for like before you choose how to pay. See all fly now pay later provider scores โ†’

This score is built from Madfu's own published plan terms, its Saudi Central Bank licensing status, and the country and currency details it discloses for flight bookings. No brand pays Laters.com to be rated, and every provider on the platform is scored against the same rubric. Last reviewed August 2026.

Laters.com is the merchant for every booking on this page: we sell the ticket and earn from the fare, which is the same whichever payment method you choose. No payment provider pays us for placement, ranking or its Payment Score, and this page contains no affiliate links.

Madfu splits a fare into 4 or 6 monthly instalments, both interest-free and Shariah-compliant, licensed by the Saudi Central Bank. It settles in Saudi riyals and, so far, only in Saudi Arabia. Two plans, one market, no long-term financing tier.

What works well

  • Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 both carry 0% APR
  • Licensed by the Saudi Central Bank
  • Pay in 6 stretches repayment across 6 monthly instalments
  • Shariah-compliant structure across both plans

What to watch

  • Only Saudi Arabia is listed as a market
  • No late fee figure disclosed by Madfu
  • No basket minimum or maximum published
  • Only two plan lengths on offer

4 measures, scored the same way for every provider at our checkout.

Repayment Flexibility7/10

Two plan shapes only: Pay in 4 (4 monthly instalments) and Pay in 6 (6 monthly instalments). Both are short, interest-free splits with the same monthly rhythm, so there's no longer-term financing option and no genuinely different shape to choose between.

Interest Rate9/10

Both Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 carry 0% APR, with no fee disclosed as a substitute for interest. It falls short of 10 because Madfu discloses no late fee figure, leaving the cost of missing a payment unclear.

Eligibility7/10

Madfu operates in one market, Saudi Arabia, with both the Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 plans listed as available there. Coverage looks solid within that single country, but there's no distribution to cite beyond Saudi Arabia, so reach outside it is zero.

Approval Process7/10

Madfu's Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 plans are licensed by the Saudi Central Bank and marketed as Shariah-compliant, which points to a structured decision process. Both carry 0% APR with no basket limits or check type disclosed, so how approval plays out at checkout for a given fare is unclear.

The editorial take

Strongest on
Interest rate: both Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 run at 0% APR, a genuine cost advantage wherever Madfu operates.
Held back by
Held back by a single-market footprint, Saudi Arabia only, and by Madfu not publishing a late fee figure or basket limits travellers can check in advance.
Which plan
Pay in 4 for a fare to clear within four months. Pay in 6 for a fare stretched further.

This table prices the same Saudi Arabia flight fare on each of Madfu's plans, so you can see the instalment schedule side by side. The fare itself doesn't move: Laters.com adds no booking fee or surcharge for choosing to pay this way.

Pay in 44 months at 0% APRNot specifiedNot specified$1,000.00Nothing
Pay in 66 months at 0% APRNot specifiedNot specified$1,000.00Nothing

What else can cost you

Interest charge
Both Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 are marketed as interest-free, so no interest is added to the fare on either plan.
Late payment
Madfu does not publish a specific late fee figure, so confirm current charges for a missed instalment on its own site.
Currency conversion
Plans are settled in Saudi riyals (SAR), so paying from another currency may involve a conversion cost from your bank or card issuer.
Early settlement
Madfu doesn't disclose whether clearing a plan early carries a discount or a charge; check directly before assuming either.
Refunded flight
How an outstanding instalment plan is adjusted if a flight is refunded isn't detailed in Madfu's published terms; ask before booking.

This worked example is an illustration, not a quote. What you're actually offered depends on your market and on Madfu's approval decision, and every provider we score is run through the same cost rows so you can compare fairly.

Where Madfu leads

  • Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 both carry 0% APR
  • Licensed by the Saudi Central Bank
  • Pay in 6 stretches repayment across 6 monthly instalments
  • Shariah-compliant structure across both plans

Before you apply

  1. Madfu currently lists Saudi Arabia as its only confirmed market, settled in Saudi riyals (SAR).
  2. Both Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 are marketed as interest-free and Shariah-compliant, but Madfu does not publish a late fee figure, so check its site for how missed payments are handled.
  3. No minimum or maximum basket size is disclosed, so it isn't clear whether very low-cost or very high-cost fares qualify.
  4. Age and residency rules for Saudi Arabia aren't stated here; confirm current eligibility criteria directly at madfu.com.sa before booking.

Zilch is built around a pay-in-4 product with its own eligibility and credit checks, and you can compare Zilch for flights on Laters.com. If Madfu isn't available where you are, these are the other providers that can spread the cost of your flight.

FAQs: using Madfu to book flights

Everything you need to know about paying for flights with Madfu on Laters.com.

Can I use Madfu to book flights on Laters.com?

Not yet. Madfu isn't currently available as a payment method at Laters.com's checkout. We're working on adding it, and this page will update once Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 launch. In the meantime, Laters.com accepts other pay-later providers including Zilch, Tabby, Tamara, Klarna, Affirm and Atome.

Which airlines can I pay for with Madfu on Laters.com?

None yet, since Madfu isn't live at Laters.com's checkout. Once it launches, every airline we sell will be covered the same way, because Madfu sits at checkout rather than being switched on per airline. Check back for the launch, or use one of Laters.com's other pay-later options today: Zilch, Tabby, Tamara, Klarna, Affirm or Atome.

Does it cost extra to pay for flights with Madfu?

Madfu isn't available at Laters.com's checkout yet, so there's nothing to compare here right now. Based on Madfu's own published terms, Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 are marketed as interest-free with no stated merchant surcharge, though a missed instalment can trigger a late fee. See madfu.com.sa for Madfu's current terms.

When do I get my e-ticket if I pay with Madfu?

This doesn't apply yet, since Madfu isn't available as a payment method at Laters.com's checkout. We'll publish the exact e-ticket timing once it launches here. For now, Laters.com's other pay-later options, including Zilch, Tabby, Tamara, Klarna, Affirm and Atome, issue e-tickets on approval.

Is there a credit check when I use Madfu for flights?

Not on Laters.com yet, since Madfu isn't available at our checkout. Generally, Madfu runs its own credit check before approving either the Pay in 4 or Pay in 6 plan, and approval isn't guaranteed. madfu.com.sa has the specifics of how that check works.

What happens if I miss a Madfu payment on a flight booking?

Not applicable yet, since you can't currently book a Laters.com flight with Madfu. Generally, a missed instalment on either plan can trigger a late fee and may be reported to credit reference agencies. Contact Madfu directly through madfu.com.sa for its current late-payment process.

Which countries can I use Madfu from when booking flights on Laters.com?

None at the moment, since Madfu isn't yet available at Laters.com's checkout. Madfu itself operates in Saudi Arabia, licensed by the Saudi Central Bank, with Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 settled in Saudi riyals (SAR). We'll confirm market coverage here once it launches on Laters.com.

Which Madfu plan is best for an expensive long-haul flight?

We can't recommend one yet, since Madfu isn't available at Laters.com's checkout. Once it launches, Pay in 6 spreads cost over six monthly instalments rather than four, which may ease the monthly hit on a pricier fare, though both plans remain subject to Madfu's own approval. Check back for the launch, or compare Laters.com's current pay-later options today.

Does using Madfu affect my credit score?

Not through Laters.com yet, since Madfu isn't live at our checkout. In general, applying for either Madfu plan involves a credit check that can affect your credit file, and a missed instalment can be reported to credit reference agencies. See madfu.com.sa for how it describes its own credit assessment process.

What happens to my Madfu instalments if my flight is cancelled or refunded?

This doesn't apply yet, since Madfu isn't available as a payment method on Laters.com. We'll publish the refund process here once it launches. For now, Laters.com's other pay-later providers each handle cancellations and refunds under their own terms.

Can I use Madfu for international and multi-stop flight bookings?

Not yet, since Madfu isn't available at Laters.com's checkout for any route. We'll confirm route coverage once it launches. In the meantime, Zilch, Tabby, Tamara, Klarna, Affirm and Atome are available for international and multi-stop bookings on Laters.com.

Is a Madfu instalment plan really interest-free, and what's the catch?

We can't speak to how it works on Laters.com yet, since Madfu isn't available at our checkout. Madfu itself markets both Pay in 4 and Pay in 6 as interest-free when paid on schedule, with a late fee and a possible credit-file impact if you miss a payment. Check madfu.com.sa for the exact terms.

Do airline miles and status points still accrue if I pay with Madfu?

This doesn't apply yet on Laters.com, since Madfu isn't available as a payment method here. Generally, miles and status points are earned against the ticket and fare class rather than the payment method, so this would be unaffected once Madfu launches. Check the fare's mileage-earning terms with the airline directly.

Can I change or cancel a flight booked with Madfu?

This doesn't apply yet, since you can't currently book a Laters.com flight with Madfu. We'll publish the change and cancellation process here once it launches. For now, see the change and cancellation terms for Laters.com's other pay-later options.

Do I need an existing Madfu account to book flights on Laters.com?

Not applicable right now, since Madfu isn't available as a payment method on Laters.com. Generally, Madfu approves its plans through its own application and credit check process. Head to madfu.com.sa to see what's needed to open an account ahead of launch.

How do I track my Madfu repayments after booking a flight?

This doesn't apply yet, since you can't book a Laters.com flight with Madfu at the moment. Once it launches, repayments would be tracked through your own Madfu account. Full account details are available at madfu.com.sa.

Madfu isn't available at Laters.com's checkout yet, so none of its plans can be used here right now. We'll publish Laters.com-specific terms once Madfu launches at checkout; Zilch, Tabby, Tamara, Klarna, Affirm and Atome are available in the meantime.

About Madfu and Laters.com

Who is Madfu?

Who is Madfu?

Madfu is a Saudi buy now pay later provider that has grown into one of the everyday ways shoppers across the Kingdom spread the cost of purchases, from electronics to travel. Flights sit inside that broader retail footprint, with Madfu offered as a payment choice at checkout rather than a standalone travel product, and the plans it markets are built around Shariah-compliant, interest-free instalments.

The company is based in Saudi Arabia and operates as a licensed lender under the Saudi Central Bank, which authorises the instalment finance it extends to shoppers. We haven't been able to verify independent detail on Madfu's founding year, founders, or any earlier trading name, so we'd rather say that plainly than guess. Whether Madfu is privately held or has taken on outside investment isn't something we can confirm from public sources either. For the most current detail on its ownership, licensing status, and any regulatory history, check Madfu's own site directly. Whatever plan you choose, only commit to instalments you're confident you can repay on schedule.

Booking with Madfu on Laters.com

Booking works the same way whether you pay by card or split the cost. Search your route on Laters.com, choose Madfu at checkout, and pick a plan: Pay in 4 splits the fare over four monthly instalments, while Pay in 6 stretches it across six. Both are marketed as interest-free when paid on time and Shariah-compliant, but Madfu still runs a credit check and approval before your e-ticket is issued, so treat this as a form of credit rather than a discount.

Laters.com is the merchant of record for this booking and issues the e-ticket; Madfu is the payment method and credit provider, not the seller of the flight. Paying with Madfu carries no payment surcharge and no booking fee, so the fare is the same as paying by card. You don't need a credit card to book this way: Madfu settles the fare with the airline on your behalf, and your instalments are repaid to Madfu, not to Laters.com.

Laters.com earns from the fare as the merchant, the same whichever payment method you choose; no payment provider pays for placement on this page.

How pay-later flight bookings work

A flight booking and a repayment plan run on different schedules. Our guide explains the practical questions to consider before splitting a fare.

  • What changes when you pay for a flight in instalments
  • How to compare the total cost and repayment dates
  • Why a flight change or refund does not automatically end the payment plan
  • How a worked example divides a fare into payments
Madfu is a credit product

Borrowing responsibly means only committing to instalments you can afford. Missed payments can result in late fees, may be reported to credit reference agencies, and may affect your credit standing and your ability to borrow in future.
