Nine km from the CBD, Sydney Kingsford Smith runs a tight ship, though biosecurity checks at arrivals are thorough, so don't dawdle with that half-eaten sandwich. The Singapore run is the easy one at 7h 50m and USD 380; London is the marathon, 22h 30m and USD 980, and almost never non-stop. Afterpay and Zip were born here, which explains why spreading that Harbour Bridge trip into instalments feels less like a favour and more like a birthright.
