Air Peace pay later

Can You Pay Later on Air Peace?

Yes, on Every Route They Fly, on Laters.com

Yes. Book Air Peace on Laters.com and pay later with a plan chosen at checkout, then get the e-ticket straight away. That holds on every route Air Peace flies and every fare class, because the plan is chosen at checkout, not tied to the flight you pick.

Paying later is a payment method at the Laters.com checkout, not something Air Peace has to switch on, which is why it works on every route we ticket. Search the route, choose a provider on the payment screen, pick a plan, and the e-ticket arrives as soon as payment is approved. Which plans someone sees is set by the country they book from, not by the airline they fly, so checkout shows only the plans their fare qualifies for. There is nothing to work out in advance.

An instalment plan leaves the fare alone, and the baggage allowance, and the seat. The traveller flies as Air Peace's own passenger on Air Peace's own fare rules, and only the paying is spread. Interest-free instalment plans run a soft eligibility check that does not affect a credit score, interest-bearing monthly financing runs a full credit check, and approval is never guaranteed on either. Anyone who prefers not to use a plan can still pay in full by card, or with crypto, at the same checkout.

Air Peace is paid in full at booking, so the e-ticket issues straight away. The traveller then repays the provider on the chosen plan. Note that the same short instalment shape trades under different names by provider and market.

Illustrative only. The figures above are computed from the fare you set: plain division for the interest-free plans, and each plan's own illustrative rate over its stated term for monthly financing. They are not an offer, a quote, or a prediction of what you will be given. Laters.com is not the lender and takes no part in the decision: which plans appear, the instalment amounts, any interest and fees, and whether you are eligible at all are determined by the provider alone, and depend on a credit or eligibility assessment, your country and your basket. The only way to see your real plans is to choose a provider at checkout, at which point that provider, not Laters.com, approves or declines the purchase. All plans, rates, fees and terms are estimates only and subject to approval and to change.

Laters.com vs booking direct

Why buy Air Peace flights with Laters.com?

Booking direct with the airline works fine if you're paying by card in full. But that checkout only shows you Air Peace, and only its own payment options. Laters.com searches Air Peace alongside every other airline we sell, and lets you choose from a range of pay-later plans at checkout. Either way, you're holding the same Air Peace ticket, same fare rules, same baggage allowance, same seat selection, same loyalty earning. Splitting the cost doesn't change what you fly.

The Laters.com Airline Quality Score, Air Peace

What is the Laters.com Airline Quality Score?

Our editorial rating, out of 10, for what an airline is actually like to fly once you have booked it.

  1. 1Reliability & operations
  2. 2Comfort & experience
  3. 3Value & network
  4. 4Professional airline rating

Every airline we ticket is scored on the same 4 measures, so you can compare them like for like before you book. See the full methodology See all airline scores β†’

Scored by the Laters.com editorial team from the airline’s own published specifications and named third-party measurements. No airline pays to be rated, no placement is sold, and this page contains no affiliate links.

Air Peace scores 5.0 out of 10: the plain average of the measures below, rounded to one decimal. Each measure is an editorial assessment of the published facts.

What to watch

  • No independently confirmed fleet age, size or seat-pitch figures yet
  • On-time performance is disputed between the regulator and the airline for the most recent period

The editorial take

Strongest on
Not yet determined: no verified comfort, reliability or network figures are on record for Air Peace.
Held back by
Missing fleet, seat-pitch and on-time data, not a demonstrated weakness.
Which cabin
Not yet determined: no verified per-cabin seat-pitch data is on record for Air Peace.

4 measures, scored the same way for every airline we ticket.

Reliability & operations5/10

Independent regulatory and self-reported on-time figures for Air Peace disagree sharply for the most recent period, and no verified fleet-age or fleet-size figure is on record, so this sits at a neutral midpoint rather than reflecting a confirmed reliability picture.

Comfort & experience5/10

No sourced seat pitch, seat width or onboard-service figure is confirmed for Air Peace yet, so this sits at a neutral midpoint rather than reflecting any confirmed comfort assessment.

Value & network5/10

Air Peace serves a wide Nigerian domestic network plus regional and international routes to the UK and the Caribbean, but Laters.com has not yet confirmed a route or destination count, and online check-in is offered (see this page's own FAQ), so this sits at a neutral midpoint rather than reflecting a confirmed network assessment.

Professional airline rating5/10

No named ratings body or star rating is on record for Air Peace, so this sits at a neutral midpoint rather than reflecting any confirmed quality assessment.

How the score is built

  • 4 measures, each scored out of 10
  • The headline is the plain average of those measures, computed in the open
  • Each measure is an editorial assessment based on the published facts and sources in the breakdown
  • No airline pays to be rated, and no placement is sold

What we deliberately left out

  1. Safety. It is not a marketing metric and we will not rank carriers on it.
  2. Cancellation rate and fleet age. Omitted rather than estimated, until a sourced field exists for every airline.
  3. Any sub-metric we cannot attribute. An unsourced measure is dropped, not guessed.
  4. Blended third-party scores that mix in inputs we have already rejected elsewhere on this page.

The full method, measure by measure, is on how we score airlines.

FAQs: Booking Air Peace and Paying Later

Everything about booking Air Peace flights on Laters.com and splitting the fare, plus the airline’s own rules that decide what you get.

Tail of an Air Peace aircraft at Lagos airport terminal

Can I book Air Peace flights on Laters and pay later?

Yes. Laters.com lets you search Air Peace (IATA code P4) flights and split the cost into a payment plan instead of paying the full fare at booking. You choose the plan at checkout and the booking is confirmed once the first instalment clears.

Does Air Peace run a credit check for pay-later bookings?

No. Air Peace is paid the fare and does not offer the instalment plan, so it runs no credit check. Any check comes from the pay-later provider you pick on Laters.com when booking your Air Peace flight.

How much checked baggage do I get on an Air Peace domestic flight?

Air Peace allows 15 kg of checked baggage in Economy and 30 kg in Business on domestic flights. Excess baggage costs ₦1,000 per kg, paid at the airport before check-in. The allowance depends on your cabin, not on how you pay.

What is the baggage allowance on Air Peace flights to London?

On London flights Air Peace allows 2 x 23 kg in Economy, 2 x 32 kg in Business and 3 x 32 kg in First, with no single bag over 32 kg. An extra bag costs $150 or Β£100 if bought online at least 6 hours before departure, against $200 or Β£150 at the airport.

How much hand luggage can I take on Air Peace?

On domestic and regional flights you can carry 6 kg in Economy or 10 kg in Business, up to 45 x 33 x 20 cm, plus a handbag or laptop of up to 2 kg. On international flights it is 10 kg in Economy and 14 kg in Business or First, plus a handbag of up to 4 kg.

How early can I check-in for Air Peace?

Online check-in opens 24 hours before departure and closes 2 hours before domestic flights, or 3 hours before regional and international ones. Airport check-in closes 45 minutes before domestic departures and 90 minutes before international ones.

Can I get a refund on an Air Peace ticket?

Refundable Air Peace tickets are refunded less 25% of the original fare, plus a surcharge of ₦5,000 per domestic segment, $30 regional or $100 international, and take at least four weeks. Economy Non-Flexi tickets are non-refundable. If you paid in instalments, check your provider's terms for how the remaining payments are handled.

Can I change the name on an Air Peace ticket?

No. Air Peace does not allow name changes or ticket transfers, though a misspelt name should be reported to the airline straight away. Check every passenger name matches their passport before confirming your payment plan.

How much does an infant cost on Air Peace?

An infant ticket on Air Peace costs 10% of the adult fare and comes with up to 10 kg of baggage, checked or carried on.

Does Air Peace have a frequent flyer programme?

Yes. Air Peace's frequent flyer programme is called Peace Advantage. Check with Air Peace whether a ticket booked through a third party such as Laters.com earns miles before you rely on it.

How do I check-in for my flight?

Check in online through flyairpeace.com or the Air Peace app from 24 hours before departure, or at the airport counter, which closes 45 minutes before domestic departures and 90 minutes before international ones. Bring a valid ID and your booking reference either way.

Does a 7kg carry-on include a handbag?

Not on Air Peace's own allowance: it is not a flat 7kg limit. Domestic Economy passengers get one piece of hand luggage up to 6kg plus a separate handbag or laptop up to 2kg (up to 8kg combined); international Economy is 10kg of hand luggage plus a small handbag. Check the combined weight of everything you carry on board against these limits, not a single 7kg figure.

Can I bring 3 bags as carry-on?

No. Air Peace allows one piece of hand luggage (6kg domestic, 10kg international) plus one handbag or laptop bag (2kg domestic, 4kg international): two items, not three. A third bag needs to be checked and may incur an excess or standard checked-baggage charge.

What if my baggage is more than 15 kg?

15kg is the domestic Economy checked-baggage allowance (30kg in Business). Anything over that limit is charged as excess baggage at ₦1,000 per kg, payable at the airport before check-in.

About Air Peace and Laters.com

About Air Peace

Air Peace Boeing 777 on the apron at Lagos airport

Who is Air Peace?

Air Peace flies for Nigeria, and its network is the frame for everything else here. All the deeper detail on hub, alliance and loyalty programme that usually anchors this section has not been confirmed yet, so this page sticks to what's verified: the airline itself and how paying later works.

Booking through Laters.com in instalments does not change what you fly. The fare is the same one you'd pay by card, the baggage allowance is whatever that fare carries, and any loyalty points earned follow the fare class, not the payment method. Your ticket is issued under Air Peace's own rules, so you travel as its ordinary passenger and simply spread the cost over time. Some plans are interest-free, others carry interest, and a soft credit check or no credit check may apply depending on the plan. Treat it as credit: a late fee may apply if you miss a payment, and missing one has consequences with the provider, not with Air Peace.

Fleet and on-time performance

Fleet details for Air Peace have not been confirmed yet, so no aircraft types, fleet count or long-haul mix are listed here. Rather than estimate a shape for the fleet or quote a punctuality figure without a source, this page leaves both out. Cancellation rate and fleet age are left out for the same reason: neither has a confirmed figure yet. These figures will appear once they've been researched and verified, and fleet counts move over time anyway as aircraft are delivered or retired.
