March gets you the cheapest seat at USD 55, but Lebaran can add 40-60% to that fare without warning, so build your dates around the calendar, not the other way round. The Skytrain between T2 and T3 is a genuine mercy, though the e-visa queue will still get you into the city faster than waiting for a stamp on arrival. Once you're through, a USD 45 day of soto Betawi and Kota Tua wandering makes the whole slog worthwhile. This is not a city that apologises for itself, and it shouldn't.
