Flights
Flights for halal travel: what Laters.com does
Laters.com handles two parts of your trip: the flight and the payment. You can compare 650+ airlines with a $0 booking fee, for example on flights to Kuala Lumpur, and choose how to pay:
- Pay later: PayLater by Grab and Atome, where your country, currency and booking allow.
- Other methods: multiple payment methods, including crypto (70+ cryptocurrencies).
Laters.com does not provide halal meals, halal food or prayer spaces. Meals are part of the airline's service, and the section on meals below explains how to request one.
Who can pay later
Each provider sets its own rules, and an option shows at checkout only when it supports your booking.
| Option | Who can use it | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| PayLater by Grab | Age 18 or over in Singapore; 21 or over in Malaysia | Grab may run a credit check. Customers in Singapore and Malaysia who pay with GrabPay or PayLater by Grab earn GrabRewards points and airline miles. |
| Atome | Coverage varies by country; check availability at checkout | Atome offers an installment product in Singapore. Most airlines do not offer Atome at their own checkout, and Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia have no native Atome option. |
Paying with crypto
Laters.com accepts 70+ cryptocurrencies. A crypto payment cannot be reversed once sent, so check the details before you pay. Changes and refunds for crypto bookings go through Laters.com, not the airline. See pay with crypto.
If an option is missing
Pay-later options depend on your country, currency and booking. A provider appears only when it supports the booking currency. If an option you expected is missing, switch the booking currency with the selector at the bottom of the page.
Halal meals: request them with your airline
Laters.com books your seat but does not arrange meals. On full-service airlines, meals come exactly as the airline sells them, and special meals, including Muslim meals, are requested with the airline. Whether a Muslim meal is halal-certified is the airline's policy, and it can differ by departure city, as the Singapore Airlines rules below show.
Example: Singapore Airlines
The Singapore Airlines special meals page (checked in October 2026) says:
- You request a special meal through Manage Booking at least 24 hours before departure. Some departure cities and some meals have longer deadlines, listed on that page.
- Muslim meals on flights departing Singapore are prepared in a halal-certified kitchen using halal-certified suppliers.
- Muslim meals on flights departing other cities are prepared without pork, lard, pig by-products or alcohol, and the airline sources halal-certified meat and poultry where operationally feasible.
Airlines can change these rules, so check your airline's page before you fly. You can compare Singapore Airlines flights on Laters.com.
